Sustainability is important to us, so we love to see wood being intentionally reused. We can provide advice about the best uses for the wood based on the type of wood and your property. On the day, we’ll prepare the wood for its next use (including chipping), or remove it from your property.

Whether you need a permit to remove or lop a tree on your property depends on a number of factors, including:

• The size and age of the tree (and whether it is on the Significant Tree Register)

• The health of the tree and where it is located on your property

• The local council area, zoning, and planning overlays that apply to the property where the tree is located.

Your local council will be able to tell you whether you can remove a tree, and/or if you need a permit. Keep in mind that permits can take several weeks or months to be approved, so it’s better to start the process early.
